“For the purpose of amusement, the photographer might carry us even into the regions of the supernatural.” Sir David Brewster, (1856). The Stereoscope: Its History, Theory, and Construction
Spirit photography began in the 1850’s when early photographers discovered that ghosts, sometimes by chance, appeared in their images. Was this the result of a long exposure or evidence of a spirit?
Join Edgar Miller for a fun class that will expose you to the secrets of creating ghostly images. Edgar will show you how to use neutral density filters in combination with your shutter and tripod to create ghostly figures in your photography. Not only will you leave with ghostly images, but you will have a great understanding of how neutral density filters can be used in portraits and landscapes.
